Explore some of the ways we can remain engaged and enjoy our aging process. One example of connecting in a positive activity was at the Senior Solutions celebration of our 50th anniversary on Friday, April 28th. We had a “Senior Prom” at the American Legion in Chester. If you were not able to attend, you missed a great time! We had a cocktail hour at 5:30, followed by a buffet dinner. Dancing to The Moonlighters band began at 7:30. More fun was enjoyed with the balloon bingo game, a photo booth, and the silent auction. Our prom committee led by Sue Dana decorated and organized the evening festivities. The American Legion looked gorgeous! The dinner was delicious! The Moonlighters music filled the air and drew many dancers onto the floor. We all had the opportunity to personally thank our sponsors, many of whom had a great time with us. We all enjoyed it so much that we can’t wait to hold another big community-wide event again. You will definitely be invited!
