Southeastern Vermont has several Senior Centers who work constantly to provide stimulating and fun programs for us. They have lectures, trips, meals, and activities for the brain and the body.
To list them all would take an enormous amount of space. So, I am inviting you to explore all the possibilities at the following centers:
The Thompson Center in Woodstock: 802-457-3277 where they managed to provide lunches even through their flood water issues, The Bugbee Center in WRJ: 295-9068, where we recently had a wonderful interview with their Director, Mark Bradley. Find it on our website here , Black River Senior Center in Ludlow: 802-228-7421 which has continued to operate through all the storms, Springfield Senior Center: 802-885-3933 where we plan to offer the Walk with Ease program this autumn, The Bellows Falls Senior Center: 802-463-3907 who is co-sponsoring the Health & Benefits Fair on September 22nd. The Brattleboro Senior Center: 802-257-7570, where there are amazing programs and activities for all interests. These are all wonderful resources to enjoy, learn new skills and make friends. Give the closest center to you a call and start connecting. Enjoy!
